![]() This hotel is definitely convenient, the rooms are nice, and the atmosphere/decor is modern. Included in our price of the room were two beach chairs and towels to rent on the beach, which was perfect and then we rented an umbrella for $15 because it was just too insanely hot without it. The room was beautiful and had a view of the city and the beach – win/win! The pool definitely got crowded and since it wasn’t very big (they do have two but they are both kind of small) we spent most of our time on the beach. ![]() ![]() Our hotel, Royal Palm South Beach, was right on the water and walking distance to so many great restaurants. Royal Palm South Beach – We stayed in South Beach and didn’t leave that area the whole time. FYI all outfits are linked at the bottom. So, here’s my recap of what we did (which was mostly eat and sunbathe, so there’s a lot of that – ha!) and where we stayed, along with some other great hotels I know about in the area. Other than that, egg on top of my dish was pretty good, the bacon was different but pretty tasty, and my boyfriend's avocado sandwich was good.Red two piece set – top | red two piece set – bottom | steve madden heels | straw bag | bandage bikini top (similar) | ae high waisted jean skirt | ray-ban sunglasses May I add, I paid $10 for a plate of bland, undercooked rice. About halfway through eating, I started getting uncooked rice in every bite which was extremely unpleasant. So they took it back, I waited five more minutes, and I was relieved. We waited about 20-30 minutes for our food to come out, and when it did my boyfriend got his first and they brought me the wrong item. Our waiter also seemed very stressed and confused which wasn't completely his fault since the kitchen seemed to be the root of the chaos, but he was a little difficult to communicate with especially since this place is pretty noisy. The entire kitchen was disorganized and we could see staff literally banging on the counters yelling at the cooks 10ft away from us. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time yesterday, and it might have been our last. The mollusks are pristinely shucked and served in proper form, with house mignonette, cocktail sauce and The Dutch’s hot sauce, for those who like it raw and hot. Some of the usual suspects include Blue Island from New York Kusshi from British Columbia Island Creek from Massachusetts and Pickering Passage (an extremely rare breed) from Washington. ![]() Known for their oyster program (and little oyster sandwiches), expect nothing less than the freshest bivalves on the beach, both East and West Coast and constantly rotating according to what Mother Nature has in store. right when doors open for dinner, though no one is going to punish you and leave you dry and oyster-less if you get there at 7:45ish. The classiest happy hour in town can be savored every day from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Stuff like Veuve Cliquot, Laurent-Perrier, Krug, Ruinart, Jeeper, Delamotte, and Dom Perignon. But not just any champagne they’re pouring the good stuff. On the menu: oysters and champagne at half price. Highly recommend if in the area.Īndrew Carmellini’s South Beach outpost of The Dutch is about to make a lot of people very happy with their new and first-ever rendition of happy hour since the restaurants inception in 2012. All in all loved this cuban home made ice cream place in Little Havana. Prices are reasonable and there is place to sit inside and enjoy their ice creams and a couple of tables outside. The addition of guava sauce was good and overall this tasted great too but I preferred the coffee one (i am a coffee lover anyways) but my husband enjoyed the guava ice cream. The Abuela Maria on the other hand had mild guava flavors and we could barely taste the guava in the ice cream. The flavors of cuban coffee along with buts of oreo were delicious and I devoured every bite. Both the flavors were great but I personally loved the Cafe Con Leche. We tried the Abuela Maria and Cafe Con Leche. They had a huge list of ice cream flavors they sell but thankfully they had noted their top 3 best sellers - Abuela Maria (guava based), Cafe Con Leche (coffee and oreo based) and Montecado (cinnamon, nutmeg and egg based). The minute you walk through that door you will be engulfed in the strong aromas of freshly made waffles. So thats what we did when we were in Little Havana - stopped by this cuban home made ice cream store. 90☏ in Miami and the only way one can beat this heat is by indulging in ice cream.
